Tips for the Summertime

Hikes in the Upland Moors …

… and exploring the unique biotope landscape “Wieser Werfa”. The green moorland with its serpentine brooks (meanders) and its unique “Marchstein” soil stretches above the village Predoi at the valley head of Valle Aurina in Casere. A dreamy place to recharge your energies and unwind.

The Best “Pressknödel” …

(roasted cheese dumplings) … can be found in the Holzerböden hut located above San Giovanni on the sunny path called “Sunnsatweg”. A delight not only for your palates, but also for your eyes: You can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the valley basin and of many well-known summits.

An Adventure Day for the Whole Family …

… awaits you in the hiking area Klausberg. The ski lift takes you high up, where you will find green meadows and spectacular views, as well as exciting adventures: the dino park, waterworks, and the Alpine Coaster “Klausberg Flitzer” will light up the eyes of the young and the young-at-heart. Tip: Don’t miss the Lake Chiusetta.

A Sunrise in the Mountains of Valle Aurina …

… is a spectacular experience. Early in the morning at 6 am, the ski lift takes you to 2.000 m of altitude on Speikboden. You can enjoy the sunrise on top of the panorama tower or at the Speikboden summit cross (30 min walk). After this breath-taking adventure, a mountain breakfast awaits you at the Sonnklarhütte …
